Felted Bag

To create this beautiful bag, first I wove two squares out of wool and joined them together. Next, I felted them to create a thick, sturdy fabric. After they were felted I added embroidered embellishments on the bag using cotton thread. Finally, I wove coordinating straps using the same cotton thread as for the emroidery, and assembled the bag with a fabric lining.

The bag measurea about 9.5″ square. The straps are 1.5″ wide and 25″ long. Spot clean only, with a damp cloth.
